Returns & Exchanges

If you order an item from Mid America Motorworks and are not completely satisfied:

  • Within 30 days of receipt, you may return it in like new condition, in the original packaging for a credit, exchange or refund.
  • Within 30-60 days of receipt, you may return it in like new condition, in the original packaging for a credit or refund, less 25% restocking fee.
  • No returns accepted after 60 days.
  • Please contact our Customer Service Team at 800-500-1500, for return instructions.

Return Instructions

  1. No returns will be accepted for installed or modified items (sanded, primed, painted, cut, etc.), personalized and special ordered items.
  2. No returns will be accepted on any exhaust products that have been installed.
  3. No returns on electrical products, computer chips, scanners, tools, books, videos or CD’s.
  4. Refer to the information on the back side of your invoice for returns and exchange instructions or call our Customer Service Team at 800-500-1500 to initiate the return process.
  5. Return the item shipping prepaid to Mid America Motorworks with the completed form, noting any address corrections. Send your return to us prepaid by UPS (within USA), insured parcel post or Federal Express Home Delivery Service. International customers, please contact Mid America Motorworks before returning any product. COD returns are not accepted. If Return is due to error of Mid America Motorworks, please call our Customer Service Team at 800-500-1500 to arrange for return authorization. Defective items will be replaced per Mid America Motorworks’ guarantee. Refunds will be issued via the same method in which the merchandise was purchased.
  6. Items will be inspected before any final decisions are made on credits. The returns department retains full discretion on granting full or partial refunds, exchanges or in-store credits
  7. Core Returns: Returned core must be the same year, option and application as the item ordered. Core must be complete and in re-buildable condition to receive full credit. Core cannot be modified, painted, cut or altered in any way. Please drain all fluids. Customer is responsible for return shipping cost on the core returns.
  8. Please retain tracking number until you receive your credit. Credit will be applied back to the original payment method used.
  9. Warranties: Mid America Motorworks warrants its own Performance Choice products from manufacturing defects for one year from purchase date. If an item manufactured by another company has an additional warranty, it will be noted in the catalog copy or on the paperwork received with the item.
  10. Mid America Motorworks is not liable for 3rd party expenses beyond our control, including installation charges, storage costs, towing charges, etc.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Any items which have been pre-installed, cut or modified in any way are not be eligible for return. Mid America Motorworks reserves the right to substitute items of equal or greater value and quality. Gifts will be treated as an ordinary return.

Customized/Special Orders

Personalized and special ordered items are non-returnable.

Missing or Damaged Items

If there are parts missing from your package, you must contact Customer Service at 800-500-1500 within 7 days with your name, invoice number and description of loss or damage. Save all packaging material and shipping cartons.

If you discover damages or losses caused in shipping, notify your local carrier's office immediately. Save all packing material, including the box. They will inform you of possible inspection and pick up of the damaged merchandise. They will return it to us or notify us of the claim. Also, please call us with your name, invoice number and description of damage or loss.

Core Return Policy

Our re-builders are not able to accept core returns on items once they have been modified, painted, cut or altered in any manner. In order to receive full core credit, core returned must be the same year, option and application as item ordered. Core must be complete and in rebuildable condition to receive full credit. Please drain all fluids. If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service Department prior to returning.
